HACOF supports development actors to comply with national and international environmental and social safeguard requirements. We lead Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and develop corresponding Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) for infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and extractives projects. Our work ensures that environmental risks and social impacts are properly identified, mitigated, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.

We also provide institutional support to regulatory agencies and project developers to build capacity for enforcement, reporting, and stakeholder engagement in line with international standards such as those of the World Bank, IFC, and AfDB.
