Countries: South-Sudan
Client: UNMISS (United Nations Mission in South Sudan)
The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) contracted HACOF to conduct a public opinion survey aimed at assessing the perceptions and attitudes of South Sudanese people regarding the humanitarian, political, and security situation in the country. This survey was designed to gather valuable insights into public sentiment, providing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and priorities faced by communities across South Sudan. By engaging diverse populations from different regions, the survey aimed to capture a broad and representative perspective on key issues affecting the nation.
The primary objective of the survey was to measure trends in public opinion through an annual assessment, allowing policymakers, humanitarian organizations, and development partners to make informed decisions based on reliable data. By systematically analyzing people’s views on governance, security, service delivery, and humanitarian interventions, the survey contributed to evidence-based policy formulation and program design
