Our Local Governance and Citizen’s Engagement services are designed to empower local institutions, strengthen accountability, and enhance citizen participation in decision-making processes. Guided by a Rights-Based Approach (RBA), we prioritize locally-led and locally-owned solutions that foster lasting peace, democratic governance, and equitable development.

By bridging the gap between rights-holders (citizens) and duty-bearers (governments), our work ensures that local voices are heard, governments remain accountable, and inclusive governance structures are strengthened. A particular emphasis is placed on promoting women’s leadership and ensuring marginalized groups are actively involved in governance and policy processes.
