Evaluation of the HEMS Somalia Stabilization Project for UNMAS Somalia.

UNMAS/UNOPS contracted HACOF to conduct an evaluation services whose aim was to provide evidence-based information on the achievements and impacts (both intended and unintended) of activities carried out by the Stabilization project on local communities (including men and women and on the capacity of local governance structures and institutions in targeted areas.

We undertook the UNIMAS evaluation project to measure the effect of mines and explosive items on the lives of people. This study also assessed how important is to educate the larger society on the impact of explosives, engaging stakeholders, local government structures, and higher institutions of the government.
