Islamic relief Kenya Contracted HACOF to implement Building Resilience Initiatives for Pastoral Communities in Kenya (BRICK) whose aim was strengthening programme by directly working with smallholder farmers, traders, youth, and women in three sub-counties (Garissa Township, Fafi and Balambala) of Garissa County, Kenya.

The programme offered specific sets of business/vocational trainings /skills development opportunities for youth and women through promotion of sustainable livelihoods, microfinance activities by explicitly promoting women’s participation in all the project activities.
