HACOF collaborated with UNICEF to investigate the gender dimensions of population needs and capacities among affected communities in relation to UNICEF program interventions. This assessment aimed to provide a deeper understanding of how gender disparities impact access to services, resources, and opportunities, ensuring that UNICEF’s programs effectively address the unique challenges faced by different demographic groups.
The study specifically examined how gender inequality and existing gender gaps influenced each program section, highlighting critical barriers that hinder equitable participation and benefits. By analyzing these disparities, HACOF identified areas where targeted interventions could promote gender inclusion, empowerment, and resilience within affected communities.
