Client: Transition Initiatives for Stabilization & Development Alternatives-DAI/TIS
HACOF conducted an impact assessment for DAI to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs aimed at equipping local institutions, government stakeholders, and the wider community with skills to mitigate conflicts arising from ethnic and clan-based tensions. This initiative was designed to strengthen peacebuilding efforts by fostering inclusive dialogue, promoting understanding, and enhancing conflict resolution mechanisms at various levels of society.
The primary objective of the training was to promote good governance and reduce conflicts, thereby contributing to long-term peace and stability. By engaging key stakeholders, the program sought to improve decision-making processes, encourage collaboration, and build institutional capacity to address underlying causes of disputes. The training also emphasized the importance of community engagement, policy development, and the role of governance structures in preventing conflicts.
