Scaling the Impacts of USAID Resilience Programming Through Local Systems (USAID Kuza) is funded by Feed the Future (FTF) to develop economic opportunities in Northern Kenya. Partnered with Frontier Counties Development Council (FCDC) to support capacity development in the ten FCDC counties namely Isiolo, Marsabit, Samburu, Turkana, West Pokot, Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Tana River and, amu and, is designed to improve enabling environment and capacity development.
Strengthening government policies and legal frameworks call for integrated MEL systems in all government and development processes, as well as the established committees at all levels of governance structures, these systems have not been adequately established.
HACOF conducted this assessment to assess the economic opportunities that are available to the northern-Kenya. The objective of this project was to support capacity building of business people through creating employment opportunities across counties
