Provision of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Platform for BBC Media Action
The C19 Project is a UK FCDO funded project in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Somalia. The project aims to produce programmes and provide training and capacity building that will enhance the producers’ programme making skills in producing radio content on COVID-19. Through the programme, Somali citizens will be provided with critical information to combat the ‘infodemic’ around the pandemic and to support the vulnerable to cope with the primary and secondary impacts of COVID-19. BBC Media Action, therefore, contracted HACOF to create an audience feedback system for South-Central, Somaliland and Puntland.
