Cognizant of the nascent administrations in the region coupled with fragility, public financial management (PFM) is a core element of state building. Effective ways of managing public resources are a crucial part of public service delivery and demonstrating that the needs of the citizens are being taken care of. We provide advice and technical assistance in developing sound PFM laws and regulations, processes, and systems. Our goal is to support governments in increasing domestic revenue, promote transparency and accountability in public expenditure, equity, fiscal discipline and efficiency in the management and use of public resources for improved service delivery and economic development.
