We support governments to secure climate financing from public, private and alternative sources of financing—to support mitigation and adaptation actions that will address climate change. Our principle is based on the fact that the region needs more financial resources to as it is less endowed and more vulnerable to impacts of climate change. We will tap into the unutilized green climate funds and expand funding sources from existing development partners to finance climate mitigation and adaptation programs.
